Winks by Georgie is a fabulous eco-luxury faux lash line. It was created by Abbey and Megan Allen. Their lashes are totally natural and come in a really cute case. I’ve used this case to put these lashes on in the car. I mean it doesn’t get any more convenient and easy than that.

I’ve since become addicted to their specially formulated lash adhesive. It doesn’t contain formaldehyde, parabens, or synthetic fragrances. I recently started wearing lashes more often once I realized how glamorous they made my eyes look and how easy they were for me to put on with a little practice. Needless to say my eyes started getting really irritated with the situation, I mean I already wear contacts (poor things). Once I switched over to the Georgie Beauty glue my daily need for Visine is gone and my application feels so much lighter.

Winks by Georgie is dermatologist tested, PETA approved, vegan certified and made in the US. It’s a quadruple whammy. They have recently started selling the line in Nordstrom in addition to Neiman Marcus and other high-end specialty boutiques. That makes scooping up some of these lashes so much easier. I want to give one my readers an opportunity to experience Winks! Since I love them so much, I’m sure you will too. Deets below!

Marie Claire teamed up with GUESS to celebrate their 30th anniversary here in Miami at their Lincoln Road store. The event was hosted by my friend and fellow blogger Erika Thomas and fashion writer Annie Vazquez. The event was a lot of fun, beautiful models, cupcakes, cocktails. The usual fair. 10% of purchases went to charity and you also got an amazing gift bag with any purchase. Seriously good stuff in there.

Daisy Print Jeans Marilyn Top

I was obsessed with this look all night and then a few days later I discover a photo of Marilyn Monroe Eva Herzigova in basically the same outfit. I die. I needed those jeans in my life despite not really wearing jeans and now I REALLY need those jeans in my life.

I kept it pretty low key with this outfit because I was expecting rain and didn’t want to be uncomfortable in something too glamorous. I’d say this is the perfect rainy day outfit and wouldn’t you know it, it didn’t rain. Wah, I took my camera with me but didn’t really take any pictures other than with my cell phone. Go figure. Too busy talking, shopping and stuffing cupcakes in my face. Oops. Another blogger took this great full length shot of me, Erika and Mayleen.

I’m sort of obsessed with the idea and name of streetwear brand Illest. I love their logo so much that when I jailbroke my first iPhone I changed my carrier symbol from AT&T to theirs. Pics or it didn’t happen. I popped into their store on my last trip to Los Angeles/Little Tokyo and bought two stickers for my collection. Matt always says I’m so “ill” (not in a good way grrr) so he wanted me to take a photo in front of the store.

I don’t love much about Los Angeles but I always have to hit up Little Tokyo when I visit. This shirt is such a rich red, definitely one of my new favorites. I didn’t realize LA was going to be freezing when I was visiting and I didn’t pack any coats. Torture. So glad I had this little jacket with me.

When I blog for Kanon Vodka I usually don’t get into too much detail about what I wore. This was taken on the first day of Kanon’s WMC parties at The Standard Miami, before I realized how hot the week was going to be. When a pool party is the last stop in a full day it’s hard to revolve your outfit around a bikini all day. I made it work though. I actually got sunburned, me…never in my life. Ok so really my shoulders peeled a little but that’s never happened to me before.

Unif fan emailed me recently asking if I’d sell her this shirt, and I could name the price. No way jose. I love it way too much to ever let it go. Apparently it’s sold out which makes me love it all the more. Here’s a few of my favorite Instagram snaps you may not have seen from the week The Standard became my second home. 7 For All Mankind Tank Filthy Magic Floral Skirt (similar, similar) Gianna Wedge c/o Mia Shoes

Took these wedges from MIA Shoes out for a test drive last week while I shot some Miami streetstyle for a magazine. So glad to wrap up that project, it was a tough one. Had to get dressed in sort of a hurry, so choosing this skirt with bright pops of orange to go with these wedges was kind of a no brainer. It’s a very Spring time outfit, which is perfect since Miami is actually getting to experience Spring since it’s still cold up north. Wee for us. The bright white tank really helps bring that feeling of warmth for me. After this I think I need more orange in my wardrobe.

Hurley Hat (gift) Filthy Magic “Bad” Ring JewelMint Collar Custom Earrings by Victor Elliott Rivera (gift)

I don’t really wear earrings much but I love these. I met Victor at an event at Bal Harbour Shops and he invited me to a dinner party he was throwing a few weeks later. We all laughed and chatted all night and the girls each left with a custom piece of jewelry. How nice right!

Chris Habana Cuff Watch c/o Kenneth Cole Filthy Magic Spiked Bracelet

The braided rope texture on these wedges is so cool. It comes in black and nude as well, for those of you scared of bold orange. You can wear these wedges with navy like me, white, tan or even with a soft grey.

Last week I attended a Rag & Bone presentation at the Soho Beach House. I had so much fun as you can see from the photo with Amanda above. We sipped on absolutely delicious Grey Goose cocktails and Prosecco all night. I was partial to the La Poire Frenchy. Peep the recipe here. It’s pretty and it’s easy to make so I’m totally down to have this entire my regular cocktail rotation.

Check out the final walk video by Julius Gregorio. All photos (except my two instagrams) were also taken by Julius for me. Thanks again!

When I think luxury, I of course think Lanvin. From red carpet startlets to high street collaborations Lanvin is either a must have or an object of lust for most fashion enthusiasts. Browsing the collection on Farfetch.com, I’m audibly ooh-ing and aah-ing over so much of it. The dresses are so feminine, I’m dreaming of the way they’d drape and fall on my form and the galas and events I could wear them to. I add a few items to my bookmarks hoping for a sale or that day where I just invest in something I know will last a lifetime. I can’t get the Woven Block Heel Sandal out of my head. The nude color palette and the plaited leather and gold-tone links are the perfect combination and I feel like it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for in a shoe lately.

If you’re unaware Farfetch.com is a collection of independent boutiques around the world. They are discerning in their network  and carry over 1000 fashion labels. No matter where that boutique is located in the world they will deliver your order directly to your door in one checkout process. With free returns, you can enjoy a comfortable online shopping experience. I may have been caught by the luxury of Lanvin but my wallet finds contemporary brands like Funktional, Free People, Alexander Wang, and J Brand way less heartbreaking. I mean there aren’t many places you can shop Dolce Vita along side Dolce & Gabbana and I quite like that variety and option.

I also really like seeing where the pieces are coming from, I was checking out some Rag & Bone pants and they come from a boutique in Oklahoma called Gretta Sloane. You can also shop by boutique, which is also cool because if you travel a lot you can get information on the store itself and check out the store. I have an impending trip to D.C. and now I have a few boutiques I’m going to want to check out. I’d love to see some Miami boutiques working with Farfetch.

This is a sponsored post, opinions are my own.

I’m blind as a bat as they say. I however rarely wear glasses, I definitely prefer contacts. I picked these up though during one of Coastal Contacts many “free glasses” promotions. They’re cat eye and have a cute print so when I do have to wear them it’s not SO bad. Kudos to Maybelline on this lipstick by the way, because not only does it stay on it smells AH-MAZING.

Hurley hat Press Zamba Sweater c/o Shoppalu Chiffon High Low Skirt c/o Sheinside  Aldo Basinski Heels

This is a pretty casual outfit for me. I put this together to shoot with Mayleen again and kept it pretty light accessory wise…actually she arrived at my place early and I panicked and ran out of the house absent of my usual pieces when I wear an everyday look like this. I adore these shoes but the material gets so scuffy, just like my Dolce Vita Jemma’s. Anyone know the best way to keep these clean?

You may have noticed I have a new sponsor on the blog, Shoppalu. They are a online vintage boutique, but they also carry new items as well. I love these kinds of stores because as much as I like vintage, I’m not a big thrifter. If you’re like me you can get in on the vintage fun without any of the work of thrifting. My current vintage faves are the Cobalt Pleated Button-Up Midi Skirt, the Orange Creamsicle Linen Top, and the 70s Tan Crochet Flare Skirt. On the new front, they carry favorites like One Teaspoon, Stylestalker, and Mink Pink. P.S. They do free shipping to US and Canada!

Do these photos look different to my regular readers? Mayleen is a friend of mine and a talented photographer in South Florida. I think she did a great job especially since I can be so awkward in front of the camera. I adore her detail shots. Her details are what I’ve been trying to get from Matt for awhile now. Don’t get me wrong, I love my usual images but I usually have to remind him to shoot my shoes and jewelry, Mayleen was asking me. I definitely want to shoot with her again just to keep things fresh here on the blog, plus she knows all the cool spots in Miami.

UO hat  Forever 21 faux fur vest  Thrifted Gap mens shirt  H&M leopard leggings  Aldo boots

Found these hanging around my hard drive from my first day in New York back in February. My posts are so scattered because I didn’t bring my laptop with me and then went straight to Los Angeles. Lesson sorta learned. This faux fur jacket I picked up for $3 a few years ago for a shoot. It’s kind of matted and I don’t really wear it but I brought it out for layering purposes in New York and still got compliments on it. Also people really dig these leggings.

Jason Wu for Target Blue Floral Classic Flap Handbag

These Aldo boots are so old…about 3 years old. I bought them when I was living in New York to deal with the snow and still be stylish.

Filthy Magic Large Round Sunglasses Asos Coat with Pleat Fur Hood (sale)

Yeah I don’t know how you girls do it, I’m looking at you Kendall…because I had to put my coat back on almost as soon as I took it off. I’m way to acclimated to Florida I suppose. Loved my Jason Wu for Target bag so much I didn’t care if it didn’t go with my outfit, I used it anyway. Thanks so much to Rob for being patient with me and taking these photos real quick before we had to hop on the subway and make our way downtown. Teaching someone new how to take outfit photos is always weird.
