The weather, the weather! Oooh the struggle for constant nice weather in New York. So the first day it got warm, best believe I rocked the only pair of shorts I had packed with me and this open knit sweater Spiegel sent over. With such a beautiful day presented to us, we went to The High Line to shoot these shots. After this day it of course got cold again, but lately it’s been even nicer and more often too.
How do you guys like my new Jagger Edge phone case? So cool right, I get so many compliments on it and it’s so handy for keeping a strong hold of my phone. I first wrote about JE on my blog back in 2011 when I was looking for an iPad case. Crazy!
My first time wearing these ankle breakers went really well. Such a great heel that makes my legs look absolutely killer. I can definitely get away with wearing these out and about in Florida but no way in New York. Definitely need to invest in more flats for New York.

Hi, I’m alive. Haven’t gotten a chance to really shoot for the blog, but I will be tomorrow. Better late than never right. I wore this a few weeks ago when I first arrived on a freezing cold day with a coat I quickly discarded for this shot. I wore this to see Mykki Blanco and ended up not going and instead made it to happy hour and a few bars with my friend Yanique. She had her camera on her so we quickly dipped down a random block and snapped a few pics.
Bonus, I met Lubov of BCBG wearing the harness

Sharing these photos is so long overdue. They were taken during Fashion Week by Tan Camera over a two day period. So much fun and a such a unique experience for me since I usually shoot digital. Kimi is so fun to hang with and just such an interesting person. What do you think of these shots? I’ll be uploading the extras to my facebook. We shot some others in the library at Toren so I hope I can share those with you another time.

A few weeks ago Oxygen network invited me to film a webisode to help a few of the ladies from Bad Girls Club with their fashion choices for dates. I was brought in as a fashion expert for Janae Bradford, Valentina Anyanwu, and Nancy Denise as they searched for a man during Oxygen’s Find Me My Man Bootcamp. It was a really interesting experience. Video always is. I was given a room full of clothing and shoes to completely rework the girls style for their dates. They needed a little bit lot of guidance on their path to finding a good man. Working with these girls was probably my most challenging (and a little scary) project yet. I like a challenge though. Definitely check out the video to see me go head to head with one of the girls.

I’ve been on a closet clean out kick. I’ve been listing my pieces on Material Wrld and a few other resale sites. The best thing to come of this is finding this pair of Alexander Wang heels on Material Wrld. These were the first pair of Alexander Wangs I’ve ever wanted. Such an amazing find and at an amazing price. I couldn’t be happier. The nice thing about Material Wrld is it is very focused on high end fashion.

This is still my favorite spot to shoot. This part of the beach is always empty and the views are amazing. Before heading to dinner we decided to stop by and take in some of the gorgeous weather. I got sand on my suede kicks and I didn’t even mind. Can you believe I forgot about these until I saw them by the door on my way out? I immediately changed shoes.
I’m glad I wore this adorable Ainsley top under my Express shirt just so I could take it off and feel beachy. I have matching bottoms as well so stay tuned to see those in a different post. Do we love this Wang skirt? I do, I do, I do. I’ve worn it about four times already and I only got it in early February. The leather is so perfect and I love the braided detail down the middle. Definitely recommended.

When I first got these pants from Shop Akira I totally thought I’m going to wear them with something solid black and totally simplify the whole thing. Cut to me feeling like a rock star which is always a good thing. I found a forgotten basket of clothing recently and out emerged this tee from High Heel Suicide (so soft). I immediately put it on and tied that baby up and I knew I had my outfit for the evening. That’s it I thought…except I glanced this chunky necklace my mom gave me from Nelly and knew I had to wear it. It’s crooked in every shot of course. Womp womp. The jacket you’ll remember from my last post. It was grabbed last minute as I was running out the door and suggested by my boyfriend to keep me warm when it cooled down later after dinner.
P.S. Major kudos to anyone who knows where my title comes from. Such a good band, jamming to their entire discography now.

I’ve had an awesome few days hanging out with friends, eating tacos beach side more times than I care to admit, and enjoying some late night swims/hot tub sessions. The only thing that would have made it better; warmer weather. What’s up Florida? Welp, now it’s back to reality and the weather is beautiful again. 75 degree days and 50 degree nights. The wind though. The wind can chill at least while I’m trying to take photos. Totally messing up my hair.
How pretty is the print on this dress. I love the pink and black panels breaking things up. This is from the resort collection from BCBGMAXAZRIA Runway. I generally don’t do bodycon dresses but something about this one called to me. I chose to wear a leather jacket (I borrowed from Lily) and a hat from UO to lend a casual vibe to the dress. I wore this outfit to Martha’s unconventional baby shower. So fun and it was a hit from everyone. Thanks, BCBG <3

I titled this post because I’m currently riveted by The Following, Fox’s new drama (watch it, get back to me) and because of the name of this awesome style stalker dress. One of my favorite Australian brands hands down. My friends are starting to associate them with me too which is pretty great. I bought this dress with my $1,000 giveaway winnings from MISSKL. I bought a lot of style stalker actually. Like everything available that would fit/look good on me.
Well, episode five of The Following just ended with a literal “gun to the head” cliffhanger and I’m pissed. I knocked some stuff over on my desk and took to twitter and my friend told me it starts in 20 minutes so chill. Hahahaha. I’m ecstatic. It’ll be my reward for finishing this post. If you follow me on instagram you’ll know I wore this look to lunch at Makoto at Bal Harbour Shops with Moet & Chandon last week. Though I wore different shoes because I didn’t want to wear these babies just yet.
I tracked down these Alexander Wang babies on eBay. Brand new in box. I’ve been wanting a shoe in this style for awhile and Wang won for me because of the cape on the back. It’s removable so I’m really getting like two shoes in one here. I want them in the metallic silver as well. Is that overkill? Hmmm I don’t care. Quite a few Wang’s on my wishlist actually. I’m picking them off one by one. Hope you like these photos I took them with a camera I’m not used to using and self timer. Shout out to the bloggers who do self timer regularly. I forgot how tedious it is. No thanks.

Fuzzy pic but I still like it!
So I’m currently sitting in an apartment in New York drinking a glass of red and it’s 39 degrees outside. These photos were shot several weeks ago at the SLS hotel on Miami Beach. I had so much fun that night and it was definitely kicked off at the SLS. My planned Valentine’s Day outfit post didn’t work out due to missing the sun, but I remembered I had these shots AND I’m wearing red.
